Chrsb, True! I noticed that also. It can be entertaining when forum members are the seller or buyer or both. Not to watch the agony! but just more of a personal interest I guess. Maybe o***g is a dealer and going by the sheets which is low on these IMO and will drop out. Gee, a whole day and 6 hrs to go!

I noticed that in the closed ebay live Superior auction that a PCGS 65 Red sold for $700 + 22% buyers fee = $854 and the PCGS guide ( which most think is overvalued) is right on @ $ 850. For the 65RB, it is valued @ $575.

The value of dies 2,3,and 8 seem to be making gains also on ebay. Sometimes the seller is trying to scam someone into thinking it is #1, but even when listed as an alternate die variety, there is a lot of interest.Any thoughts on them?

Ya I have watched Die#3 go for #1 money, someone will be disappointed when they go to sell that and recover their initial investment. Most of those auctions are a result of ignorance and manipulation. Not everybody owns a Cherry Pickers Guide to see what those number mean on the slab, all they see is DDO. I think FS numbers have changed reciently also, making it even more difficult to tell what is really for sale.

I have been actively looking for a die #4 for ever, I won one only to find out it was not it (the seller refunded the difference to me, very nice guy who stood by his word). If I were to buy a die 1 I would go for a raw one with a return policy to save money. I am confident in my knowledge to differentiate the dies to save a few bucks. I am interested in this auction, if the reverse were toned also I might be more inclined to bid on it.

As for the other dies, some of them are quit nice and are gaining value. Now that PCGS and NGC have started attributing some of these dies and adding them to the registry people are looking to buy them, many who would have never known other dies exist.

Ah, easy to find. I think the inclusion of the PCGS site url is an excellent idea.

C***D is back and determined, maybe a bidding battle shaping up.

Probably most of the active forum members. I Want to see if C***D comes back for a third run at it. I am glad that USAP let all of us in on it from the seller's side. Much more fun to buy than sell I think Sean, only a few hrs to go!
