I can't tell if that's rub after it toned, or simply didn't tone there. Keeping those key points in mind, if it shows consistent luster beneath the toning, mint state. If there is any disturbance in the center of the fields, 58. I like it, but I just can't be sure of 58 versus 64. Report this Post to the Staff

numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11898 Posts	Posted 06/30/2018 10:58 am ms63. soft strike, good luster. liberty's head shows little detail in the headpiece as do stars 5-8. disturbance in left obverse field between stars 3&4 down toward liberty's knee. in reverse, the eagle's head and especially the right leg shows little detail due to a soft strike. luster appears uninterrupted so ms for me.
