Meow- All Canadian business strike cents between 2002-2012 had steel cores and are magnetic.

Meow- Now you've wandered off into the Canadian section while tomcatting around. Remember what I said about neutering.

CoinsT. DBM got it. Don't be mislead by Meow, he's talking about American cents. Quote: Stray cat . Careful, you don't need anymore unwanted guests. .

Better have deep pockets if you wish to purchase these two coins. I believe they cost as much or more than a 2006p non-magnetic.

Yes, but since they were only found in sets, they're best thought of as part of the non-circulated category.
I'm working on a complete penny set, including all the 2006 varieties... but am not worrying about 2003 and 2005 non-magnetic errors.

Quote: Actually it was the Boa Constrictor that the cat was curious about! Or the hornets nest in the garden, the speeding dump truck, the extension chord in the puddle or my pet polar bear. Silly kitty. They do need 9 lives. .
