I've found one in a Loomis roll before. Odd thing was is that the roll wasn't short, it just had an fake extra penny in it.

Actually that's the new Chinese counterfeit for our Lincoln Cent. But they produced an error by striking the word China on the reverse . Could be worth thousands .

I've found at least a dozen, in 5c boxes. Taking it to the extreme, I've found many cardboard

cut-outs, as well. Makes you wonder if they shut off the sensors when rolling.

Probably cheaper to let the kids play with real pennies these days!

I have quite a collection of plastic pennies and dimes. I also have gotten quite a few tiddlywinks in machine wrapped rolls.

I cannot believe have never heard of these if they are this common. For what reason are they put into rolls?

I have yet to encounter one of these in a roll...

But I do have a few Coinstar finds of them to my credit.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
