It doesn't have great luster, but it is there. I'm still struggling with my setup. I think I get great definition, but not great color. Here is another with a different lighting technique (lamps closer to the coin and different diffuser - coffee filters). I also just ordered a light ring to see if that helps.

T-BOP...I think you're grading fine!...My 58 was due to the fact, I think there is circ. rub below the toning,which is also hiding the luster. easy slider and maybe higher...IMHO

That was poorly phrased. I mean it just doesn't seem to have quite the pop of a fresh new coin - close, but not quite.

I understand what you are saying Coinfrog, and you are correct. It is definitely not full luster. I just think my photos don't necessarily do justice to the coin. Perhaps that's just the nature of photographing them.
