Thanks LOM. Couldn't find that info anywhere.

PetesPockets55, The way PCGS has the 1982 FS1801 listed is weird. Got to find it under 1982D... lazy I guess. EDIT: for the MS-62 and MS-63

LOL and thanks again LOMadness. Some of my image files are that way. Random coins in some folders and other folders completely empty. Hopefully my learning curve starts to go up eventually, instead of looking like an inverted Mt. Everest.

PetesPockets55, I hear you on files... I take pictures of every find and throw them all in one big folder on the computer's desktop. Tomorrow I will post my 1982 fs-1801; show and tell

Hello: My name is Jim Proctor. I'm very new to this "Coin Community" and I introduce myself as a coin collector, intense cherrypicker of U.S. Coinage and, I'm admitting, not very savvy with this website. But I will learn. In 2008 I found a 1982 Small Date Zinc DDR Lincoln Cent. I reached out over the internet and found a wonderful collector and coin expert named Ken Potter. Ken and I talked, I sent my coin to him for verification and that's how I discovered the coin's unique qualities. There was quite an article in Numismatic News which can be found if you search the internet. I had the coin properly attributed and graded by NGC. It's a MS 62 RD which I believe is the highest graded so far for this unique coin. Pictures of this coin were taken by Ken Potter and some how or another pictures also ended up on the Lincoln Cent Resource webpage. These can be viewed at the following website. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...982ddr1.html

Excellent coin KoinAge John1, Wexler's is WDDR-002, Variety Vista's is DDR-001, 1-R-IV, and Copper Coins is 1982P-1DR-001. They all cross ref to FS-1801 except for Copper Coins. There was a thread not to long ago about different numbering systems. EDIT: I guess "VP-002" on that NGC case is an NGC numbering system?

John1, Oh, I see what you are saying. I guess LincolnCentResource.com needs to fix their information on the cross ref to Doubleddie.com.

Awesome DDR KoinAge! Sorry about earlier. I just wanted pictures, but it's all good now.

We are talking about two different varieties coins. KoinAge has a DDR-002 in a slab photo and the coin in the link is a DDR--001. I am confused about this whole thread. John1

Very nice find! I believe this is a very uncommon doubled die to find.
