Very nice cherrypick!!

Better than Fine for sure, I'd say VF25. The obverse does worry me a bit as far as environmental damage/corrosion, especially the crunge in the feathers and at the ribbon. I also see a small green spot of verdigris or PVC residue directly to the right of the last S in STATES (between the S and feather) in the 1st obverse picture.

Would strongly recommend a soak in Blue Ribbon/Classic Coin Conditioner or Verdi-Care to preserve and protect the surface.

VF details (ED). It may clean up a bit but I'm doubtful. Not a fan.

I will look into Verdi-care! I don't know where to get blue ribbon coin conditioner?

Cf- thanks. I know it's not the prettiest, but it's not An easy RPD to find.

Don't worry about Blue Ribbon. Verdi-care well tell the tale.

Google "classic coin conditioner" -- the original Blue Ribbon is both ridiculously scarce and absurdly expensive, in addition to being toxic.
It is not an exact reformulation, but I'd say it's at least 80% as good as BR and about ten times cheaper.

Edit: Verdi-Care is a good product -- I use it on a lot of scudzy copper -- but it is also becoming scarce and expensive. Wizard has been out of stock of both the 15ml and 60ml sizes for 6 months and bottles are selling for 2-3 times their original list price on ebay. I do not know if, or when, it will be available again for purchase like it was a couple of years ago (I ordered 3 bottles about 3 years ago, no problem, before the shortage) and have not seen nor heard any reason why it is no longer available. Wizard signed the XDA (exclusive distribution agreement) in 2010 and to my knowledge no other stores carry it.

Okay thanks for all the info. If I can't get Verdi-care, I might just have to leave it as is. :(

Also I notice you specialize in Washington's 1932-1964. I'm currently working on my set, along with any varieties I can cherrypick. Hopefully I will be considered a specialist in that series someday. :)

@CoinHunter27 thanks! I don't put as much time (or money) into it as I used to but I still have lots of gorgeous Georges. The early silver series from 32-64 have lots of neat varieties including the '34 Motto types, 4 major DDO's, at least 2 "naked eye" DDR's, and a large number of RPM's and minor varieties such as the Type B / Type C reverses.

I had cherrypicked a 1942-D DDO-001 the big one one In XF, (sold that one) and I still have my hands on the 1964-D DDO FS-101 In AU-58, and the 1963 Type B reverse in MS-64/65 (both of which I cherrypicked). I also got a 1943-S DDO (big one) in F condition in a trade. I don't think there were any RPDs for these years. Those stopped showing up earlier, right?

Should have said RPM, not RPD. Fixed it. That's what I get for trying to think after 12 hour shift :P

Thad had verdi for sale for a very short window here on CCF not that long ago. I got a bottle, but I regret not getting a few.
