Many times while I'm browsing this site since yesterday I get a security warning about the site, it seems I'm not the only one having this issue? Any of the moderators know why this had been happening since yesterday? At the top of my screen where the website is it says tps: and it's in red with two lines through it. Also once I click advance on the security warning I get a second warning.

Cleared my cache hopefully that will fix the issue. It seems to be random, does not pop up between every page. I have never had this issue since I joined.

Works fine here in Chrome and as I said the SSL is fine.

The site does have mixed content. Images pulled from the CCF gallery site use old-school HTTP, not HTTPS. The content is "not secure" and Chrome (depending on your settings) likes to get all huffy over it, which for coin images it is as Bobby said, much ado about nothing.

The error message shown above is a flat out lie. The Cert authority is NOT invalid. It's very much valid. Let's Encrypt secures over 260 million websites.

I agree that with regards to the CCF website, this is a non-issue. Most users likely never noticed it, depending on how their security settings are configured. I got blocked initially using Chrome, but my security settings are fairly tight. Simply updating them for this site allowed me to access it again through Chrome. Here's a less-dramatic and less-embellished article on the cause: https://www.zdnet.com/article/forti...ypt-expires/

I access the CCF using my MacBook Pro and Safari. I received a similar 'your connection is not private' block when I've tried to check in the prior two days.
I hear you Bobby that it's all some misunderstanding - but its never happened before in my many years as a member so something has changed.

I think it may be fixed. According to my host, revoking all the certs and reissuing should get the new root cert. I've done that. I can't check though because I never saw the issue in the first place.

I've heard from a few that were getting it all the time and they said it's fixed.

Yep, it's fixed. All the red warnings are gone now . While I had the issues on Chrome, on which I have fairly tight security settings being my primary browser, I never saw it on either Firefox or Safari. I keep them around as backup and have the default security settings on both of those...
