I am not sure what other people see to give such a low grade. I don't see much of any contact marks. A few strike throughs.

And that's why many sellers love TrueView photos when selling coins, and many buyers hate TrueView photos when buying them.

I ignore them, and never, ever use them when I sell coins. To do so is just plain unethical.

Fortunately the auction houses always use their own photos. To avoid lawsuits, I suppose.

I revised my above statement slightly since it didn't come out as intended. I don't sell coins very often (maybe 1 or 2 per year if that) but I always use my own photos.
It helps minimize the chances of returns and unsatisfied buyers.

That being said, I have found Heritage's photos to be among the most consistent and accurate in terms of "what you see is what you get."
