Received mine today. Absolutely perfect, I guess it should be for that price. Probable going to kick myself for not getting the air force.

Nice to hear that you got your medal in great shape, but, you didn't get the Air Force one? what about the others? (Navy and Coast guard)
I hope to get mine tomorrow.

Looks like first-day sales reached 8,443, according to U.S. Mint spokesman Michael White out of the limited release of 10,000 medals even priced at $160 per medal with no household-order limits, https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...on-first-dayOne-ounce versions of the medal series will also be issued, beginning Aug. 16 with the 1-ounce Air Force medal...these will likely be very popular with the lower price, and the great design of the Air Force and Coast Guard medal should look equally good on the 1 oz for those who found 160 each (or a set) were beyond the amount they wanted to spend. Hopefully Dearborn it will arrive soon...

Got mine a couple days ago, awesome in hand. That ring around the rim is from the capsule, not on the medal.

Looks good. Glad you received them timely. I bet those will look great in the display case Dearborn also mentioned.

Thanks Dragon Quote: I bet those will look great in the display case Dearborn also mentioned. I was planning on building the case when got all 6 But I may start with the 4 I already have. I also may do all 12 of them in the same case (2.5oz and 1oz) I could show the obverse of the 2.5oz and the reverse of the 1oz medal in the same case (just spit-balling on that part though.)

Quote: There are also quite a number of coin display cases out there already that might work for your needs vs building one: Some are on Amazon Thanks Dragon, something to think about. Certainly would make my life easier.

Unless you needed to make something custom for your specific display area, these examples I just thought would be plenty to display the types of coins you and others might have as its a large investment to have put together those coins. https://www.amazon.com/Indeep-Milit.../B07G5F21Y1/
