Awesome! I find that the deeper the bottom part is, the better, it will block lights from the openning reaching directly to the coin. To check this, you can take a look at the rim of coin where the inside should be darker all round. But if lights reaching coin directly, you will see some part of the rim is darker, other parts (directly opposite of openning) is brighter.

Here is a video, sort of as how to assemble and use. In the video, I showed "stitching" multiple images to make a bigger one. I was using Canon 550D, a crop sensor camera, so I had to stitch 6 images. With full frame camera, 4 are probably enough. Microsoft ICE software is a free software, very useful. Key part of stitching operation is to have enough overlap and consistent exposure. I was moving the whole lighting setup by hand, try not to rotate it.
Sony A7R5 finally has focus bracketing and it is amazing, though it is still primitive, its 61MP sensor can help a lot. Check out zoomable image, it is about 35 mega pixles (5945x5945), stacked from 16 images using focus bracketing on the Sony A7R5. Zoom it up and take look at the details. Lens used is Sony 50mm f/2.8 macro lens
Of course, last image was done using coaxial cage. The cage is a bit tall, so I can not do 1:1, else, I might be able to stitch 4 of them to make a 100MP image. Now I regret not getting Sony 90mm macro that has longer working distance.
Weird that the coin has two dates. The main date of 1966, then a "19" and "68" incuse in the stars on either side of date. I'm sure there's an interesting story to go with those.

Common with Spanish coins of the era.
The small date in the stars shows the actual year of mintage.
Though this is about focus bracketing on A7R5, the coaxial lighting cage is used as example, so here it is. I hope the word "Zerene" is pronounced correctly.
