I got the coin from a friend I trust, I'm just worried due to rotation alignment. It really has me confused because everything else looks right. Any help or advice would be great thanks

Thanks I thought it had been cleaned. I've only ever had some old family coins and only recently bought a couple. On this half when the bust is facing straight up then I flip the coin the reverse top sets at 2 o'clock position which is noticeably different from the couple other bust half's I've had a long time. It didn't cost me a lot just really like the coin.

This is the half I ask about earlier compared to another, each coin on bust side in holder exactly the same

I am new here and having issues downloading pictures to original post with smart phone. My question was on the reverse on the coin on left being rotated. Thanks

when the two dies arent aligned like that its usually called a rotated reverse. its a pretty common occurrence in the early mint. there are some coins where it is more common to find them rotated than not. its usually not worth a premium.

i had a friend years ago who collected large cents with rotated reverses. he had them all in a dansco album so that when you looked at the front they were all normal. when you flipped over to the back they were all rotated all over the place. it was a fun collection. he had all directions and rotations.

Rotated reverses are common and have no additional premium. I try to avoid rotated reverses in bust halves so all of my coins are consistently upright. Looks better as a collection.
Suffering from bust half fever.
