Well, thanks for taking the picture. I can't make anything out. Must have been my imagination.

What sort of photography setup are you using? It almost looks like a phone taking a picture of an LCD screen.

No,actually it's my S22+ Samsung. But yes, I am frustrated with my quality. I'm going to try again with different light and picture modes.

I have found that my iPad takes much better pictures about 4-5 inches away from a coin. It can't focus any closer. So I just pinch-zoom from that point, and it does okay. Indirect sunlight on a bright day also seems to illuminate better than LED.

For tiny stuff, I bought a cheap $8 magnifier on Amazon, and it does alright. I filter the LED light with a ply of tissue fastened with a bread twisty tie.

I'm getting a new S23 in a few days, I hope it will take good pictures like my current old phone does.

Super picture! I don't see that little scallop shape near the D. I think it was maybe a shadow or something. The D looked a little deformed in the original pictures. Now it is much, much clearer. Thanks for letting us have a peek!

Can you provide a better close-up photo of the mint mark? It may be PMD, but I am seeing possible evidence of another D. Maybe a new RPM?
