Nice image of the rim but the weight really needs to be determined to confirm it's missing a layer.

You can get a scale accurate to 2 decimal places (in grams) on Amazon for $10.

If you are going to buy a scale,best to get one that reads down to 0.001 and not 0.01. John1

@John three decimal places is way overkill since the third place will be trivial within mint tolerances for any coin. One vs. two decimal places is the cutoff that matters.

Three decimal places is good for doing more accurate specific gravity tests. If you won't be doing specific gravity tests, then two decimal places is fine.
