I've got so many oddity coins that are much of nothing what's one more ? & . Lincoln did look better than this representation surely. When I am bored I check dates and errors in my purse, although I may go and get a loop if my eyesight doesn't fix itself after squinting on this dryer pig #128055;. Thanks again everyone.

Welcome Rose, I'd keep it and label it for future reference. Coins I've listed on this site, once a consensus was reached I kept and labeled for future reference. To name a few I have a DDD-Design Devouring Die Wear LMC, a strong Ridge Rim Cent, Zinc Bubbles Cent, a parking lot cent, Collar Clash Dime, Machine Doubling etc.

to the forum Roses. The more I look at the Obverse side, especially around the date, either I'm going cross eyed or it's been multi struck. I expanded the picture and it looks like there's about 5 or 6 numbers in the date. With the coin being so damaged, it's hard to get a clear image. Does anyone else see this anomaly? I think I need more . ErrorsRCool

I actually believe you on the double strike, only because when you look at the fold along the top, the "s" in trust and other areas shows the letter atop the weird folded edge where if it was a coin with after strike damage, you wouldn't see any letters.

It's not multistruck. Forget about that. Even if it was it means nothing. The coin is destroyed.

most definitely destroyed lol, luckily it's only one cent and not a dollar or gold coin, that would've hurt tremendously bad

I'd still rather have the gold, so not lucky.

The coin expert I hired agrees it seems. Time to pay them in catnip with this ghastly penny spent.
