Interesting. With a worn cheek/jaw on the obverse and all the Schmutz on the reverse I'll say MS 62 RB

Pretty nice example! Man, too bad the reverse verdigris wasn't addressed before sending it in. It's not too bad and probably could be carefully removed.

I've looking at this for a couple of days, and what appears to be wear on the cheek, jaw, and temple, along with the Verdigris on the Reverse, is bothersome. This is still a wonderful coin, but I would go with AU58.

I never read the comments first so as to not bias my opinion but I also came to the guess of MS-64RB

With the verdigris on the reverse .
Wondering if it was straight graded?
Send it in in the current 2024/5 environment
Ie very much tightened up by all the services ,
this likely Unc details , environmental issues.

When taking macro photos of coins it makes some colors come out that you don't see in hand. Holding the coin you don't see any green.

But TPGs use up to 10x magnifiers to grade coins - they may well indeed see that!

Very debatable coin, I'll agree. Looking forward to the results.

I like to think of NGC as a great market grader of bruised bananas. They end up there when they lose their appeal.

Just having a bit of fun with this of course.

The grade looks right, but the verdigris is worrisome.
