Fine, send it off and learn an expensive lesson instead of a free one.

If you're not satisfied with the opinions of the folks here, your next step is to take it to a coin shop in your area. The shop owner will be able to inspect it in hand and give you a more certain opinion. You may want to take it a few places to get multiple opinions.

Whatever you decide to do with your coin, go into it expecting to find that it is not what it appears to be.

If you do get it looked at a shop or two, please come back and let us know what they say. We're all here to learn and your experience could help others when they find something like this. Good luck!

FYI, All you have to look at is the 100% cartoon mintmark to know it's fake.

So I suppose you're saying that there is no chance of getting one. Yet there are still some out there somewhere. Hmm

Look at the mintmark man, looks like someone did it in crayon. Doesn't get any faker than that. It's not even a good fake, it's laughable.

Right out of the Chinese fake factory .
Send it in to one of the major grading
companies for a definitive opinion.
Should only cost you a hundred or so
all in .

I understand your excitement, but I agree w/ all the others.... unfortunately appears to be a fake. If it were my coin, my next step would be to take it into a couple local coin shops & get their opinions.

A very crude counterfeit available for $1 or less from China. There are many thousands of these floating around and they're basically worthless.

I'd throw it away if I had it.

That is a quote from AI Artificial Intel. "Artificial" says it all. Un-Reliable source.
But as others have stated Spend $100+ to have it graded and please come right back here
in 3 days with the results from the TPG. Hmm.

Agreed, a comical fake. Save your money. Not worth slabbing at all.
