Well I did test now on a 1898 thats a bullioncoin with similar reverse, first 2 before 20second dip last 2 after. Indirect light/direct light. Maybe its edjucational for some. I see improvment but I don't like the areas around in good we trust etc.
There seems to be a bit of improvement but I'm scare to do that with any of my coins. I saw a horror show of a video on youtube of a guy bragging about how well MS70 cleaned up the tarnish on his coins. He used a Q-tip to scrub them with MS70 and they came out looking like lifeless lumps afterwards.

Well I make mistakes so you don't have to& I quickdipped one side 5 seconds and much of the haze vanished. As I suspected it has probably been dipped or something in the past they tend to retone fast. But I don't se alot of hairlines. On the bright side the reflectivity is very visible now.
Viewer discretion I only dipped this coins because it had problems. I don't recommend it
This is all part of the learning process. You are starting off just right. Not sure about that solution though. Stateside we use ez-est and ms70, compare ingredients.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.
Looks like it's time to experiment ... luckily I have several candidates that "can't be ruined" as far as value ... I'll reciprocate with pics, I appreciate it when members do that for me.
