The 09 S VDB is one of 3 in the set that I was unable to find CRH, so I bought one on the bay about 10 years ago. MS63 BN. Guess which are the other 2 I purchased to complete the set.

Somebody dropped another bid last night, which Bidder 14's Tuesday bid overtopped

Quote:
Current Bid: $158,500.00
(w/Discounted Buyer's Fee $174,350.00
Inc. $3,962.50 saving for check/wire/eCheck payment)

Have to take the discount, because you don't get to be a billionaire unless you are using coupons at the Piggly Wiggly...

My grandson was with me, and I pointed to the shield on the slab and asked him what color it was. He said, "Gold."
Then I pointed to the bean sticker and he said "Green", that my friend made it official..

Well, makes my $56.50 invoice from the same auction seem like chump change.

Just think of this: the same year and type of Lincoln Cent pictured below (My Coin) ($40), but it took a few more hits and cost over five thousand times less!

Yeah, they "got" me for $126 yesterday - but still so miniscule!
