It could've been coated with some silver colored metal.

I see a well worn common date Lincoln Cent that is potentially plated with something - but the photos could very well be deceiving of the surface colors.

No numismatic value here.

I assume in your heading you mean plated, not plata.
A plated coin is considered damage and has no numismatic value over 1 cent.

yes, this cent appears to be plated to a silver color, maybe rubbed with mercury.
