I would call it a VF-35 but if it has some luster left, it may possibly make EF-40.
It has a very nice eye appeal IMO

I think I see some subdued/toned luster around the stars and lettering on the bottom of the reverse.

this was a scan and doesn't show the luster of this coin I may try and get my camera set up to take a better pic

Nice coin.

Would love to see better pics. So is there good luster? I think that coin is at EF40 or 45.

The beading on the shield is consistent with AU coins. The wear on the eagle's probably holds it back from AU.

Great pictures Yotie! This solidifies the coin as an XF in my opinion, and a solid one at that, at least according to how I've seen them TPG graded. I don't think a 45 is completely out of the question either.

I like the date too. Here is the example in my type set. I purchased as a raw AU several years ago.

reverse is XF-40
but obverse F-15
Net VF-25
Hopefully you did not overpay by too much.

Yotie, $30 is a fair price for that EF coin. You did fine.
