I saw those ones but I think the prices are a little steep for bullion. I can understand paying a little more over spot but this seems a bit excessive.

well you won't get any Britannia's under 30 bucks anywhere I have seen and usually they are closer to 40 or 50 bucks. If you are going to wait to find one at spot you will be waiting awhile to find someone that doesn't know anything about them and even then you will have to be the only one who knows about the sale

I got my Bulletin catalog from The Royal Mint today and I found something odd. On the website it lists the proof of this coin at 52.95 but if you order it through the mail it costs 46.04 anyone know why this is?

ya I got the same thing when I purchased from the internet site. Once I got to the purchasing section the price changed. Tell me Bryan1315, are you able to get back into your account, if you created an account on their site ?
Since I registered and bought mine, I haven't been able to reenter my account. And I never got a confirmation by e-mail of my registration nor my purchase. I sent an email asking about the problem, no answer yet.

My catalog that arrived recently lists the coin at £52.95 but on the rear page it does say prices can change due to fluctuations in raw materials.

laserpete, I just tried and well I can't log in either. Either I don't remember how I registered or my password or something else is wrong.
Kena, The catalog says 52.94 but the page you order from says 46.04. here is a scan of the ordering page with it highlighted

Well I don't know what happened. Noticed that my credit card was not charged, Can't get into my account ever since I proceeded with a transaction, noticed they don't sell it anymore, and never got a response from them when I sent them an email explaining the whole situation. Don't expect to ever do business with them again.

Well I finally got new from the Mint. Got a letter in the mail friday indicating that they could not send the item. Probably sold out before my order took place. Anyways they said I could wait or choose another item. Wait ? Like they would actually make more...thought it was supposed to be a limited mintage. Anways, the letter indicates I can check within the box to cancel my order, which I did. I should be getting the proof coin from another source next week. Happy ending.

I have to clarify something so as not to give The Royal Mint a bad name. I recently just found out that my e-mail properties was not correct and was not receiving any emails. When I entered the right info, I received all my emails and one from Royal Mint. So I apologize to them for my last post.
Ok so I ordered the 2010 Britannia, so there :)

My 2010 Britannia arrived the other day. Paid £23.10 for it from a dealer.

Royal Mint would not accept my debit card since it does not have a start date. Gave up waiting on hold for someone at The Royal Mint to answer.
