Quote: How about a pic of the Franklin set? Thanks! Here is what I found for the other C&C sets. I might like to have the Franklin set now that the price has fallen, but I have no interest in the Marshall set.

The LN6 Lincoln Set has a dignified appearance to match its secondary market value. In other words, it looks 'money'... Since I took the day off from work to order it, I should probably take Monday off to be present for its arrival!

I wonder if the price will drop a little since everyone is getting these in hand now

Somehow I missed this one, didn't even know it was coming out due to a lenghty absence from coincommunity or other collecting activities, goes to show it is good policy to "stay in touch"
what was this issue price on this set?

$55.95 A bargain, in my humble opinion.

Do not leave this Set laying out when you're having a really bad fight with your fiance.......I'm just sayin'..... Mine is still safe.........for now. I'm still saddened that the "rumor" proved to be false about the Lincoln Silver Dollar being a "S" mint. Can you all imagine how the 50,000 Sets would be valued/prized were that to have happened ?Oh Man !!.....that " would've" been swwwwweeeeeet ! I'm sad that it proved not to be true. (but still overjoyed at the beauty of the Set as it is too ! of course) I just can't help but stop and think about the "what if" factor from time to time....

Good thing that wasn't an "S" Dollar in there, or your fiancee could have flown to Hawaii by now.... Nonetheless, I think that those of us who have the LN6 Set are very happy to have it, even with 'only' a "P" Dollar... PS: Thanks to the rapid upward value trajectory that certain numismatic items purchased by myself have exhibited, I now have impunity in the 'DNA' household to purchase numismatic items as I please. In fact, twice now a package has arrived at my door and I was told 'that better be a coin in there!' (as opposed to parts for my cars, which are on a stagnant or downward value trajectory at present, as the family is only too happy to remind me....)

I really like this set. Classy looks and good quality. I think I might look into that Franklin set. It looks pretty nice too (and I like the price tag on it lately).
