It almost looks like an "O", but I dont recall New Orleans making SLQs.

That's because they closed in 1909.

by pvc do you mean the black spot in the D in dollar on the reverse, cause I usually just leave that cause I dont want to damage the coin

No, it appears that there is some green residue on the coin. It could also just be reflection from the area where the coin was photographed.

Was it shot under a fluorescent ring light? I've noted that green-to-red color fade before from them.

Very nice looking SLQ.....a set I plan to attack after finishing up a couple others. Currently only have 27S and 25, both passed down from a relative.

i dont know what it was shot under, those are the sellers pics, I should have it in hand tomorrow, it is a really fun set, I'm thinking about selling most of my Seated quarter collection so I can complete the set in all EF-MS in PCGS holder but maybe I'm just dreaming lol

yes, I won lol. I was thinking EF-45 because the eagle doesn't have full details, but with the details on the obverse(shield) could this coin grade AU? also look at the die crack on the date. what do yall think on grade and price, so I can see if I made a good deal

nice die crack! probably VF or EF. sorry to bring you down:( (but again, I'm an amateur grader and its just MY opinion so don't get too bummed out, we need the pros to determine this...)

i was hoping for EF but the details on the shield kinda got me thinking that I could be AU, I was lucky to win, 17 bids and I won buy less then a dollar

Solid EF-45. It unfortunately has a slightly cleaned look to it, especially in the second set of pics you posted. Most likely it hasn't been cleaned, the photos just might not be showing it accurately.
