Well you know dealers wouldn't do anything unethical like that. Maybe they just forgot they did that when it was time to sell the bag and BuffaloBoy5, well it is still sealed so its not really lying but it is shady as all get out

That's rediculous that a dealer would think of doing that. First of all, it would be so tough... Never mind, I'm just ranting.

They use a small TV camera just like those used in hospitals to have a look inside the human body. If a major error is discovered you can bet your money on the big bags being searched without ever being opened. Be pretty tough having a couple of thousand possibilities lying right before your eyes, knowing collectors everywhere are anxious to get their hands on the same opportunity and willing to pay a premium, so a little poke and look see would not be out of the question now would it? First of all most folks would NEVER know the small camera had been inserted (I have seen pictures of it being done) and quite honestly the bag has NEVER been opened has it?

Well, this just depends on your definition of "opening" a bag, and how you do it.

Ok I have thought about this for a day and I even asked a policeman, If you see someone do it and they say "unsearched" it's fraud but only if you have proof

well if they say "unsearched" that is false but if they say "sealed" its not really a lie now is it because they didnt open the bag so it is actually still sealed from the mint

Old Dan did you know some dealers will poke a small hole in the bag, insert a small camera on a flex hose to look for errors? They can then still advertise them as UNOPENED!

Cleaning and buffing coins is also WRONG especially when you advertise them as UNCs for UNC prices. Many a dealer know the unknowledgeable are buying coins and it is such a pain to ship them back and go through the refund hassle, if you know what I mean? I was sent a 1917 UNC. Standing Liberty quarter a few years ago for an unheard of price and it looked like a million bucks when I opened it. But the old magnifying glass told the story!!! Needless to say I don't do business with that dealer any longer and he got his Std. Libs shoved right back into his inventory with a very RAPID refund after I threatened to spread the word online and to write every numismatic publication here in the states. Darn refund came faster than the coin did!
