Quote: They look much better than the artist rendering in my opinion. I felt the same way about the 2009 cents.

I saw my first ones in circulation in New Orleans over the weekend and just got more at a shop here in Austin today. They seem to be starting to make the rounds. I definitely like the look!

I just found my first 2 (both P) in circulation here in New Orleans. I'm also impressed with the design.

This is interesting - has anyone found them on west of the Mississippi River? I found mine in Orlando on holiday but here in Texas I have not seen any and after hitting a few local banks they only have new 2009 rolls (yeah I picked up some!) but no 2010s.
Anyone from around Denver been able to spot some in the wild?

Near ZERO here in NE Kansas.....(about 500 miles East of Denver) Heck ! I've still been happy to find an LP4 from the wild !... .... in good condition is another matter though ! .. Of course, there are many varied opinions on these Shield Cents, and many folks just aren't impressed by worrying about keeping many or any of them. But me, I'll keep most any coin in BU condition....especially an inaugural year one. Many say that all one needs to do is just wait.....the "flood" of these into circulation "will" happen in time. The distribution just has not been widespread as of yet. And that's fine, I don't disagree with that premise at all. But because the condition of these is so "fleeting"......I'll "hoard" and secure as many as I can when I come across them ! (The Two Roll Sets will always remain intact though....so these aren't "usuable" for albums or folders)
