Quote:
notes that were once in sheet form have a serial number over 99,000,000.

That doesn't start with 99.

Tumbleweed, check out the serial number of the note that you supplied the link to. Now compare that serial number to this:

or compare to this:

Thanks, I didn't stop and think that star notes would have different runs.

My point was the very, very close relationship to serial numbers. The sheets that these notes came from were probably produced within minutes or seconds from each other.

Note this page says (go down to $5 2003) the uncut sheets of star bills started with DG.

Just like the one on ebay.

What a fantastic error note Nickelman. Do you have any idea what a mismatched serial/mismatched denomination/crossed seal star note could be worth? (Anything above face)? (Remember, it IS a FRN).

I just had one great idea for a business (so to speak)! I could always use a talented partner. Together we could put certain 'less talented' folks out of business. I'll pm you with all of the details.

I had posted this one here before Nickelman, very recently, but I am not sure that you were here then to see it, so I will show it again, (just for you).

When I posted it before, I received many offers, but just could not bring myself to part with such a treasure for less than the high offer of 89 cents with free shipping. What a jewel 'eh?
