nice piece, and there is nothing impossible about a proof being struck thru grease.
However, this is a very strong strike and not likely an unc.

I'll up the ante to 50 cents. What a great looking coin!!  Do we now have an auction underway for this coin?  Let us know how the TPG comes out.  Prettiest SL Quarter I've ever seen - just have to keep looking I guess.

I will up-date the post when it gets back I sent this in to PCGS with an 1886 O Vam-1a single (E) clashed Morgan I am thinking will come in at an MS-63

I just got the grade sent too me, I think it took a hit becuase of the strike thought on the (O) PCGS Proof 63

I do not think so. It's a proof with a strike thought error. I looked up the sales over the last year, there has been 5 sold 2 of them where 63's and they sold for 1150. and 1175. plus the buyer premium. None where error type coins.
I did not pay to have the strike though noted as a blind man can see it.
