OK, now I'm really "cornfused"! Is he saying that he meant to type IKES instead of okra? That I can understand, but some of the keys are not as close as others. Anyway, I hate okra unless its in gumbo.

look at a QWERTY - I-O , E-R and A-S all 3 side by side--- so it really looks easy to type okra or ikes on a tiny touch pad -- he got the K right and I don't care who you are, that stuff's funny my typonese and dyslexia thank you

I lost three Ike's to Adam_E in a contest. Two of those where 1976 variety 1 (bold legends or lettering). Was contemplating selling on the "Bay" before losing them. Research showed that good condition 1976 var. 1's were going for over $2.00, and mine where at MS-60 or better. IMHO. Is there a market for what you have I say "YES"!

Ikes are in a pretty interesting category right now. They are a specialist coin for a limited number of specialists, but to everybody else they aren't worth much more than face value. The Ike Group site, linked previously, will tell you everything that you want to know about these coins. There are a bunch of interesting varieties and die clashes, but relatively few of these varieties are easily marketable. I know of only two varieties that are worth a substantial premium in circulated condition: the 1971 D Friendly Eagle Variety and the 1972 Type 2 reverse. With okra, on the other hand, every variety is only of interest to the specialist.
