OK, Thad, I hate to burst your bubble but while that is an annual show, it is NOT held in Cincinnati every year. That was the Central States Numismatic Society annual show. It was held in Cincinnati last year and hosted by the Cincinnati Numismatic Association (The strong club I mentioned in my first post). This year it was in Milwalkee. Next year, and for the next few years it will be in the Chicago area (Next year at Rosemont by O'Hare airport and then after that moving a little further out to the Schaumburg area.) The other show name you mentioned is the Greater Cincinnati Numismatic Expo and that is the show held at the Sharonville Convention Center.

Actually, I feel better now Conder, knowing I didn't miss the one at the Convention Center this year. No wonder I hardly ever hear about it. LOL
The Sharonville show is pretty good, but I've only been to that twice. It's nothing like the CSNS show, but it's nice. Where did you see a schedule for the CSNS shows? I absolutely MUST go to the next one here...I cannot miss that. It's a spectacular show and probably worth driving to. Where do you live?

Quote: Send me an email if you go, I'll meet you there if I have any money too. LOL It's always the last Sunday of the month. HA, the next show will be on Halloween, Oct. 31! I missed it again this month. :( I got overwhelmed with college starting up this past week. I really want to go next month though. Any idea when the next Greater Cincinnati Numismatic Expo show will be held at the convention center?

Quote: Where did you see a schedule for the CSNS shows? http://www.centralstates.info/page2.htmlSt Louis had the CSNS convention in 2005, it is still the largest show I have ever attended. Unfortunately, the 2011-2016 dates are scheduled to be in the Chicago area

Yes the CSNS show probably won't be back in the Cincinnati area for a LONG time. I live about 100 miles north of Cincinnati and just a few miles west of the Indiana/Ohio state line. This means that for the next seven years the CSNS show and for four of the next five one of the ANA conventions will be within 200 miles of me. YES!

Thanks for the link bio!
Man, that's 5.5 hours away from me. Nonetheless, I might have to make a road trip. It'd definately be worth it if I have enough $$$ to spend there.
Conder - I didn't realize you were a hoosier! I'm an IU alumnus! I visit IN many, many times every year.

Actually born and raised in Louisville KY, but that wasn't my idea. (Both parents were Hoosiers though.) When I got the chance though I moved back to Indiana. Fortunately in our family we don't care too much about sports or it could get ugly. My cousins were IU, my father went to Purdue, my older brother went to you of Louisville, I went to you of Ky.
