Quote: Dansco needs to update their commem books.. Or the place you got the album needs to update either their stock, the description of the album, or both (it may have five pages now). Either way, I understand your concern. How many pages are in the first album? Let us know what you find when you get the 7066 in hand!

There are four pages in the 7065 which cover both MS and Proofs from start up of the moderns through 1994.

When I was looking for extra pages at Wizard, I did not look in the right place earlier... http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/dan...dollars.html32 holes on four pages would mean eight holes per page, but it appears they have twelve holes. Each four page album should hold 48 coins. How many holes per page does yours have?

The 7065 has 12 per page with two empty holes on the fourth page...

Hopefully the 7066 has the same 48 holes then. It should have enough room to be current for the next year or so. I suppose you won't know for sure until it comes in, but do let us know what you find.

Hopefully that will be tomorrow.. But I'll be lacking for sure since it also needs double the slots to accommodate the proofs as well as the MS's... I'll advise... Paleoguy

Maybe two albums then, one for proof and one for uncirculated? Doubling albums, that does start to get pricey, though.

Just received the 7066 and it only goes through 2001. Where are we supposed to put the last nine years of commems? I ran into this also with the half dollar commems and Dansco. Thoughts?

Only way I see to do it is to purchase a Dansco 7177 (Silver Dollar Blank) with 48 holes and label as I go.... Wonder why Dansco is so far behind the power curve on the commemoratives? They are popular coins...

Are there blank (unlabeled) holes at the end of the 7066 album? If so, is it possible that the vendor had older stock?
If there is no extra holes in the 7066, maybe they will be making a 7067 sometime in the future; probably when there are at least two pages worth.

There are two holes at the end... Just like the 7065... As far as I can tell (and I've done a LOT of googling) there are no newer Danscos out to supersede the existing ones. They are nine years in arrears!

Further my last, by using the two blank holes at the end of the 7066 (for Capitol Visitor's Center MS & PRF) I will need 34 holes to house the MS's and Proofs through 2010. The 7177 has 48 holes so that will work.. A lot of Futura LT 8pt labeling ahead!

The only reason I can think of for being so far behind is that they are waiting to release the next "full" album after a couple more years have been issued.
However, it appears that you have a solution. Let us know how you like them when you are done.

Stick a fork in me! I'm done!! . Acquired (with pain) the final MS dollar (Paralympics Wheelchair) last night. I ended up with two and three quarters Dansco's full. That includes both the MS and Proof releases. I still have the fourth page blank in the Dansco 7177 for future releases... This was almost (but not quite) as much fun with the thrill of the hunt as filling a Type Set.
