I am missing something here  You claim to have gotten not one, but TWO, 1984 DDOs(a $100+ coin) out of the same box but you are more worried about posting pics of a probable zinc zit? |

Yes I found 2 84's and out of the same box! You bet I got excited about them. I have gone though 65 boxes trying to find one but just like the 97 double ear I found about a month ago. I didn't find one I found two just like traffic tickets, I always get two! And yes I am excited about this 06 penny. It's not a gas bubble,not sure what it is yet but it's interesting enough to get me excited!

So sorry all, my blackberry will not give me the option to send a pic. I'll head off to a few coin stores and see if they can help.I've seen gas bubbles,errors, etc but nothing like this.

I will provide pics on saturday. Will post the 06 0 mint mark and the 2 84 double dies as well. My boss said I can use his camera and computer at work but not till then. I can't wait to see what you all think!

I thought about that possibility, too.
That would be a really cool error, but there is no point in speculating anymore without a pic.

Didn't he post a pic on a new thread the other day? Turned out to be plating blister ? But I'm still waiting on the 84 DDO's. |
