Wow. You give me HOPE! Welcome to CCF from another Canuck!
I found a 1934 Canadian penny a couple of weeks ago, my very first EVER! pre 1940's find in customer rolled pennies from my Royal bank :) It's corroded but a great find that has me stoked anyways.
Congrats on your Indian Head. What a good one too!

Yes, I'm loving meeting up with so many Canadians in here too! Sadly my 1934 is rough shape but the point is is that its a CLEAR 1934 and pretty amazing to find this oldtimer in a roll of circulating coins from my bank. A customer wrapped roll ;) I think 1940 or maybe 1941 was my oldest find until this 1934. I haven't been roll searching that long and only search from about $10 maybe up to $20 of rolls per month I think.

Great find! It definitely has good detail.
A U.S. resident, I used to attend Canadian coin shows in order to buy U.S. coins. Those "foreign" U.S. coins sold at modest prices on that side of the border; this, pre-eBay, that is. I do miss those shows, but I miss Tim Horton's coffee, too! I don't understand why that chain hasn't spread further south ...

thanks for he posts guys, from what I have gathered from everyone is that in its condition it should be worth $70 which is much more then I expected. so iam glad I didnt bring it down to my local coin dealer to put a bid on lol I would have got like $30 prob. so thank for the honest opinions.
