I almost feel guilty for finding my 1939-D in only my second ever box of nickels, while everyone else has to spend years searching. Seriously though, you've found some pretty cool stuff. I love roll searching

Excellent info. Thanks for sharing. It is stats like these that drag me out of my house and make me hit the banks in the face of a long cold streak! Last good find For me was an AU 62d Jefferson.

upstate, Sometime in the the middle of this journey I started having dreams about roll searching. I also did this with the Lincoln Cent. I just haven't added up all my totals yet. I put the Buffalo's, the silver nickels, the proofs and other odd ones in 2x2s then in a page and into a binder. I mark that binder 2010 roll hunting finds.

Coins1371 I am curious as I have not done much so far when it comes to Jefferson nickles, but I found your list very interesting. Would you be so kind to share some of your wisdom on Jeffersons such as: What is important about the 2009P & D. Anything else you might wish to share for this newbie roll searchers would be appreciated.

Great finds and amazing work going through all those nickels. It took me nearly a week to go through a box and a half. I'm still new so I scrutinize every coin. I'm sure I'll learn more as I go along.

i can see that you have many doubles of the 7 remaining holes on my withman folder so , wouldnt you be interest in some exchange to help me ?
wouldnt you be interested in silver dimes , quarters or some dates of lincoln wheties or nickels ? I dont mind to give away some silver or whateverr I can to finish my circulated set so I could stop the hardcore nickel roll search and just do once on while just for pleasure buffalos and vnickels ! tell me what you think about that ?!

srjmrj, As to what is important about the 2009 P & D. The 09 was the lowest mintage since the 1959 P with the mintage of 27,248,000. In 2010 the D have a mintage of 229,920,000 and the P have a mintage 260,640,000.

Ricardocody, Let me know what dates you need and I can get them together. We can work something out.

Those are really interesting stats. A lot of time on your part to still prove a full set of Jeffersons can be pulled out of circulation, the ONLY U.S. denomination that can be done that way, BRAVO!!

Ricardocody, I didn't find a 1944-S. I don't have one laying around here or I would include it. But I do have the other six. I think one Washington quarter or three dimes would do. What do you think? If not just let me know.

All those nickels and no Canadian coins? Or did you just not count those?

I just realized I didn't include them. I found a good handful of Canadian coins.
