I believe this is the first reverse Cud I have seen as well, at least one of that size. Thinking back I think I may have seen some small Cuds on the Reverse but as I said absolutely nothing that size

Awesome find! I can't believe that coin lasted long enough in circulation to wear down to that level.

Beautiful Reverse Cud! Reverse Cuds are very hard to find. I've only been able to find one so far, a 1983P LMC.

Now thats a nice one, this ones worth much more than many of the other Cuds posted recently on the forum. Reverse Cuds are much rarer than obverse Cuds on jeffs (due to design issues). I've seen obverse Cuds that size go for more than $50, I'm not sure what a reverse would bring. -XoG

Quote:I've seen obverse Cuds that size go for more than $50, I'm not sure what a reverse would bring Appreciate the estimate XOG but no worries ... I'm not going to market this coin ... unless it can bring moon money and contribute to my silver classic commemorative collection. Truth is the coin is now in a 2x2 and put away in a binder where it will most likely stay until I pass on and my son throws it into a coin counter at some bank. Hmmmm ... that is kinda depressing to think about! David

I havent sold any of the Cuds I've found either, though I did have a forum member offer me $70 once for the biggest one I've found.
