Got three more boxes of Jeffersons on Friday.
Two String boxes....one from dunno where
Have only gone through most of one box so far.
One Buffalo (1923)
One Silver War ( 1944 S )....(this one was another roll ender too !)

Halfway through the second box.... Found another Silver War And this !..........   YAY ! ....... It's been a LOOONNNNG time since I found a "V" Nickel !..... esp. one in VG-8 condition ! Life is good ! ...... Edited by eaglefoot

WOW congrats! I love end roll finds! My best was a dateless buff in las vegas! Congrats on that V! I need to search $1K in nickels one of these days.... I'm always searching Dimes

Went through the last box of Nickels..... No more goodies .... except....... for this Proof !   It's a weird thing finding "impaired Proofs".....you're, of course, ecstatic to find one.....but it's also very sad that it's seen in the wild.....getting abused......   |

Those proofs were meant to warm the bench, not play in the game. Hey, there's LIBERTY on that 1912! VG-8 all the way! What a box this turned out to be!! |

Nice V-Nick... I've only found one in all the time I've searched nickels, over 60 boxes now.

I think this makes about 5 total V's for me.... But this one is in the best shape by far ! They've generally been barely recognizable in the past ! The Proof '05 Jefferson still has me in shock though ! ...... I'm happy to give it a safe home.....but what do you really do with an "impaired Proof"..... Edited by eaglefoot
