That's quite a beautiful lot And if that die crack was any bigger, it would have turned into the mother of all Cuds'...

Quote: SDcoinguy: I would love to see your entire 3 cent collection This is pretty much it These are mostly common date 3C's and they replace the 2 nickel 3Cs I had before So I went from 2 to 13. And one will go to upgrade my 7070. Quote: you said you have a piece from every date and mm? That's what I'm trying for it. I've got a lot left to go....the hardest ones left to go I might add. When I post my count of unique pieces in my collection, I consider a piece unique for date, mm, type, and major die variety.

They looked at me like I was completely mental! (How can a "nickel" that's worth 5 Cents be only 3 cents?) And then I laughed! And then showed them the coins...

Superb crack on that second one, goes almost all the way around the coin. Starts at the rim at 3:00 goes through the tops of RICA to the hair curls across the bottom of the bust, through the centers of UNIT, the top of ED, jumps over S, through the top of TATES, over the tip of the coronet, through the centers of OF, into the hair bun, and then I lose it around the left foot of the A
