The continuing saga of the 1871 25cent OBV1
Met with the seller of the above mentioned misattributed coin a couple of weeks ago,he said he was going to bring it with him to Torex for show and tell with Mr. Cornwell, haven't heard back
I bought a VG10 for $42 at the Vancouver coin show a couple of weeks back
I've located a high grade MS OBV1 in an older unattributed holder
Should I risk 40+ years of marriage for a coin?
What would it be worth in say MS63-64?

If the seller knows what he has...$4000. If not I would try to get it for $2500. My Visa card is armed.

Have you seen it as well Zonad?
I think you are familiar with the seller.
$2500 wouldn't buy it

There are always some for sale, they're not that rare
But the fun is in finding unattributed and misattributed ones

I don't have this kind of money to spend on a coin today,
The PCGS MS65 1871 25cents at the RCNA auction today is OBV1
Hope someone here buys this and resubmits it

I'd definitely like to see in hand or better photos before a bid. Not that I could afford it.
