I have been silver searching dime rolls and putting this set together. I have most of the set done! But the earlier dates are less than AU. I have searched through about one box.

Jbuck is absolutely right. I am working on a box right now to look for silver and create a 1965-present sent. I am halfway through the box and only one single Roosevelt eludes me. 1971.

This set is pretty easy to complete just from circulation. Without any roll searching, just from change, I have already completed this set with all coins in AU to Unc. It will take some time to get all of them just from change, but it is fun anyway.

Same with me. I've been making sets of those for years now and all from change.

Rosie's from U.S. Proof & Mint sets look really good in a Dansco too ! ....

Might I suggest making one set "from circulation" and one set from "crackin' O.G.P.'s" ! ....

That is excellent!

Let us know when you find that 1971. I am almost certain that box will have at least one.

I also forgot to mention that there is no 2011-D either. A handful of 2011-P...at roll 31 and no sight of a 1971..I wonder if that would be a keydate well down the road.

It is the lowest mintage of the 1970's, but still higher than five date-mints of the 1960's (1960, 1961, 1962, 1968-D, 1968-S).

Is it worth saving the lower mintage Copper-Clads for down the road? I think I've spotted only one 1969 so far.

I believe that I heard that someone found a 2006-W in the wild.

i think it depends on where you live at least in the US. I'm near Baltimore and even the D mints from 80s and 90s are not too common. I do rolls all the time and its like 80 % P's.

It should be pretty easy to put together from circulation because they are not silver.

All I need to complete my set is a 2009D. 2009P was also hard to fine. I only got three in a box.
