Not to mention it's in a heckuva lot better condition than VF. Cleaned, I think, but very nearly Mint State. Not a high-dollar coin either way though.

I think the dies were a little misaligned when it was struck - look around the southwest quadrant of the obverse rim, and northwest on the reverse.

OP-Price?

My concerns:
  • Yes, they do make fake common Morgans
  • Coin shows up in UK
  • Three different too-small diameters
  • Overweight?!

It does look good, but they're getting better at that all the time.

How's the reeding?

I think its within the tolerances and looks real to me, so if its fake it would be one that would probably fool me and means I need to update my counterfeit detecting skills

Ratio between 37.8 mm (this coin) / 38.1 mm (standard diameter) = 99.2%
I.e., this coin is less than 1% below standard. Might I ask, what is your margin of error in measurement?

Sloppy strikes more common from the New Orleans mint.

Cleaned AU58-9 lovely Morgan. Enjoy her company.
