To me the choice item is your second Julian from Siscia with the M in the reverse field. The first example is more like most we see and not easy to read. These are so often really poorly made since bad inflation at that time caused hurried work at the mint but this one has clear and complete legends and a nice overall 'eye appeal'. One theory is that that M suggested that one thousand of these was worth a gold solidus but I'm not sure I accept that since the exchanges between gold and billon were probably changing on a daily basis in those rough times. The Cyzicus mint Delmatius is a nice coin, too.

You have some nice coins in there. Have you attributed them all or would you like some help? There are a couple in there that I'm jealous of .

If all uncleaned lots were like this I suspect I would be buying a lot more of them!

Nice bunch - is #6 Licinius GENIO AVGVSTI? and #8 Salonina?

If all uncleaned lots were like this I would probably buy more - unfortunately all we seem to get offered are lots that have been 'scanned' 4 or 5 times to remove anything interesting!
