you cant beat the accuracy on those 1793 cents. she really does look like shes 218 years old, especially aroudn the F-VF range when she looks like a skull with big eye sockets and messy hair.

I like lady liberty on the Trade dollar. I think it is really different than all the others. I also like the Standing Liberty quarters. I too dislike the flowing hair large cent ones. But I think the ones with the large bow look kind of cool.

Decisions, decisions! I like them all and dislike none. I had to choose one, it would probably be the capped bust, since that is the latest addition to my 7070. However, that may change when I find that perfect Twenty Cent.

My favorite is a tie between the St. Gaudens and the Standing Liberty quarter but I also really like the V nickel liberty. She reminds me of a motherly, matron type liberty. I didn't even realize the Barber coins were supposed to be women - but I do not care for them yet.

Favorite: Walking Liberty half dollar (Just a beautiful coin!) Worst: Tie between Barber Head Liberty coins (looks like a man) and the 1834-1839 Quarter Eagle (weird hair).

Although the SLQ is very beautiful, I never understood what appear to be two cabinets surrounding her are supposed to be. It just looks weird and ungainly. While I like the overall design of the Seated Liberty coins, if you look close at her face it looks like she was beaten with an ugly stick. By far the most attractive Liberty for me is the flowing hair $4 "Stella." I'd date her in a second. (And her coiled-hair sis ain't too bad lookin', either. Yowza!)

I actually saw a girl at a coin show recently in profile and I thought she kinda looked like the draped bust model! It was cool, I almost asked her out for the same reason!
"You look like my favorite coin design!" Semi-flattering, in a rather coin-geek kinda way. =)

You saw a GIRL at a coin show? I thought only males collected coins. And a woman would never ever go to a coin show.

I've seen girls at a coin show. Mostly though in the company of (presumably) boyfriends or husbands who seemed to be looking at the coins, or helping out. But I just want to say, doesn't matter if you are a boy or girl, you can collect coins if you want to

On the Standing Liberty coinage, the "cabinets" represent Liberty standing at the gateway to freedom... Favorite= Walking Liberty, followed by the Type 1 Standing Liberty. The artistry along with the symbolism of early coinage is amazing... With the only exception for me being my least favorite design- Flowing Hair...
