Great coins indeed ... finally home from a long weekend of work ... tired ... wishing I had more energy to provide better comments.

No doubt these are high MS state ... the Robinson is noteworthy for again showing a living person on a USA coin ... in this case Senator Joseph Robinson.

Apologize for the lack of a full reply ... I'm beat from significant hours at work this weekend and need a shower and bed.

5 slobbers

These are just a little out of my monetary reach. Ok a lot out of my reach, I have 10 so far, mostly the commons. But they will come to me slowly

Muddler, some nice pick ups. I am sure the pictures don't do justice to the coins. What have you been using to take the pictures? Looks like the focus is a little off.

I'm continuing to experiment with my FILM camera and the assortment of lenses and extension tubes, let alone the lighting. It's definitely an art to capture a close up shot and I don't have the luxury of multiple exposures.

Macro tubes are great fun to use. I used to do shell photography with a Pentax and they helped immensely. BTW the Vermont and Hudson were both graded MS63 by ANACS. Phoooey on the VT and Yeahhhh on the Hudson! PG /

Most of the early commemoratives I collected 20 or more years ago, raw and often from mail order. Many of them came as cleaned examples that I have not had the $ to up grade. My goal is for AU or better for my full set.

That appears to be a lovely San Diego muddler.

Officially known as the California-Pacific International Exposition Half Dollar ... but who needs to remember that mouthful.

I enjoy the coin so much that I have the 1935-S as shown in your photo and also the 1936-D issue.

I admit to having very few modern commemorative ... and your 1982 Washington is one I am missing.

Thanks for sharing the coins!

Wow, those early commemoratives are some cool designed coins. Beats the modern ones hands down. Very nice indeed.
