Aarong, You will need the following sizes... Half Dollar for the 20c Silver Dollar for the 50c SBA/Sac/Pres for the $1 I like the staples ones, but I would recommend a flat clinch stapler, as you will fit more in what ever storage system you use and also have less chance of damaging other 2x2's. Trigger I would like to buy 100x8 2x2. That will cost me around $20 form the site. The site estimated $35 postage, is it really that expensive?

Hi trout1105, I have not used either stapled or self adhesive, but I read recently of the self adhesive ones failing, and a coin being damaged as it fell out of the holder. Have you had any problems like this?

aarong, A friend of mine recently became interested in coin collecting again (same as me). He bought some 2x2 and I am pretty sure they arrived quite quickly. I doubt he would have paid more for postage than the cost of the holders. I will find out tomorrow and let you know what he bought, where from, and how much it cost.

Hi ozcoins and I have had no problem whatsoever with the self adheisive flips. They are easy to use and I have never had a coin "fall" out of one

Aarong, If I remember correctly, the site only gives an estimate. After you order, Marty will send you and exact shipping cost. Last time I ordered, I bought 6025 2x2's that came in 2 large flat rate parcels and cost me $108 in freight. The total for the 2x2's was $178.00. So that's a total of $285.90, divide that by 6025 and it comes to just under 5c each. Even if the figure they quoted is correct, they will still cost you less than 7c each, way cheaper than you will buy them locally. Steve

5c will fit in 1c 2x2, but Nickel holder will give it just a bit more room. 10c will fit in Quarter 2x2. Steve

aarong. My friend bought 100 staple 2x2 holders for $15 delivered. He said it was $12 and $3 delivery. I did not ask where he got them from because I was in a bit of a rush when he called, and it sounded more expensive than the prices I saw being discussed here.

Are the self adhesive ones the ones that glue together? And I think $15 for 100 2x2 staples is way to much.

If you want thousands of 2x2s it would be wise to negotiate with your local dealer first

aarong. Price was the main reason I did not find out more for you. My friend got his order very quckly and he was happy. The more you buy, the more 'cheaper price per unit' matters. 'self adhesive' generally means 'peel and stick'. I can not imagine it being uaed differently for 2x2 coin holders.
