The real question is who graded it MS65? I have serious doubts that it is close to that grade, PCGS has only graded two 64s and NGC has graded two 64s and one 65 with none higher than MS65. That is a considerably rare coin in any grade as evidenced by Heritage Auction Galleries only hammering 27 examples since 1994. |

Just because someone asks about one doesn't mean they have one.
And I kinda doubt that someone who had one would ask that question here. Only because my best guess is that someone who had that coin would already know the answer to that question.

Well, insofar as I find computers to be "hostile" and can't even properly find my way around this website, I'll need a little help. If someone can explain, in idiot proof terms, step by step, how I would go about posting a picture, I'd be happy to do so. I Have a Nikon Coolpix S6100, 16 megapixel camera. Is that sufficient? If so, after loading the picture into my computer, how do I get it into this website?

Welcome to Coin Community, ghibliss.
Before we engage in the process of getting images into this thread, we should first qualify the accuracy of the grade of this coin. Not all grading companies are the same; indeed, the vast majority of "grading" companies are more scam than anything else.
If the coin you're describing is in a plastic slab, you can only trust the opinion of PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG and probably SEGS. Any other "slab" cannot be trusted.
As biokemist has already stated, only one example of this coin in a grade as lofty as MS65 is known. A second, accurately-graded example would be pretty much worth whatever the seller asked for it, and would be a very important addition indeed to the world of numismatics.
So, if I may ask, what entity graded this coin at MS65?

Alas, my camera is definitely not capable of taking any photos which would show the quality of my coin. I did, however, visit the Paramount International Coin Corp website. They have a site showing different coins and the various grades they would receive which allows any coin collector to get an idea of what his/her particular coin would grade at. They happen to have a sample of a quarter such as mine. Well, after viewing the various pictures and the corresponding grading, I'd have to say my coin is an MS66! I base this upon the fact my coin has excellent detail in the hair and the wings on the eagle have ZERO wear, while the wings on the example in the photo show some wear on the leading edge. Obviously, the rest of the coin has no wear.

You can also scan your coin, taking tremendous care not to damage it. The scan may not show all the luster this coin should have but we can still see the detail I'm sure this coin has. |

As SuperDave has stated and I believe you have comfirmed that the coin is not professionally graded by a third-party grader ( TPG), if you indeed have the coin you stated in the condition you stated it in, you need to send it off to a TPG to get it graded/authenticated. This coin could be worth big bucks, but not until some trusted source have verified/authenticated it. |
