Regarding your inquiry of buying back coins, Coinstar is not in the business of selling coins as it is time consuming for Coinstar and our Service Providers. In addition, Coinstar's patented technology allows our processors to filter out foreign coins and does not accept Eisenhower silver dollars, Sacagawea coins, 1943 steel pennies and pure silver coins, which coin collectors are commonly in search of. shinystuff6 Valued Member United States 60 Posts	Posted 10/12/2011 5:11 pm Coinstar machines do filter out 90% silver coins as I have found them in the reject tray before, obviously some people must forget to retrieve the rejects when they are done. Report this Post to the Staff
