I think the postie stops at your place before he comes over to the West

Quote: it's the coin that I want not the packing..I'm getting as bad as you know who and ripping stuff open
Good on ya mate, keeping coins in the fancy slabs, mint packs or other packaging is akin to buying a bag of minties and trying to eat them with the wrappers still on them.

wow what an error that is, a mint coin package missing the coin, you have to open the bidding at at least $175 :)

joshtammi, I know I am late to the party but any chance you got extras (one of each example) for a fellow CCF in the State? I can send you some US coins in return. Thanks.

Thanks joshtammi, They arrived in the post today :-)
kinda got me thinking - I need a display method for some of my coins. Just a couple at a time - maybe in a frame which can take 2x2s?

Nice work trout. I am with you on the crack them open. What is the point of having nice coins if they are in a drawer. The packaging should not really add much value to them! i.e. dinky / corgi toys... lol The value of having a coin to look at for years should compensate for the loss in value when / if the time comes to sell. As you say, enjoy life, you only get one shot at it. :)

the packaging only adds to my garbage that I am unable to burn off at the moment cos It would start a fire in this hot weather.
