That is so totally cool, folcan! I have 2 of the exact smae coin -- the 2002 nickel with that "C" -- I wonder how many there are out there? Yours is the only other one I've ever seen!

I guess then these must be rare. Wonder if there is any news about these coins. I've seen shadows before but never this clear.

I think the Arnprior dollars were the last dies re-engraved by hand, and then reused for production. An arguement could be made that the 1977 nickel dollars were also re-engraved, but if so, that information was not put into mint reports. Cant actually tell but I'm sure that wert will determin that with his software I hope lol. It seems to be consistant. There are 4 so far that we know of. I'm hoping that others will report here if they find any.
