CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 05/03/2012 2:50 pm Small date. The 6 looks uptight and the 0 has an egg-shaped center. On a large date, the 6 is totally relaxed and the 0 has a really circular shape. Report this Post to the Staff

CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 05/03/2012 3:04 pm Yes. If you have the two sizes side-by-side the contrast is pretty strong. Both sizes are common for 1960-D. The 1960-P (no mintmark) small date is the only scarce one. Report this Post to the Staff

CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 05/03/2012 3:27 pm Since 1980 (I think) dimes, nickels, quarters, halves and dollars minted at Philadelphia have a "P" mintmark. Cents still don't, but sometimes they're called "P" to be more specific in distinguishing them from "D" or "S". Report this Post to the Staff
