Susan:

these are as good as I can get it unless I need to find a macro lens or send you the coin!

the reverse is slightly rotated a few degrees when compared to the obverse, I dont know if that helps your attribution.

thank you for all of your help

Okay. I got it. Originally, I thought it was an overdate, but unfortunately, it's not. It's actually an O-107 with a rarity rating of 3 (Scarce - 201 to 500 known). The markers are:

Obverse 5: All stars are large and close to milling. The date is widely spaced and well centered.

Reverse D: The I is centered under the T. Most specimens show a die crack from the base of 50 C. that circles left at the tips of the olive leaves to the top of UNITE, down through D S, and along the scroll to OF and AM. There is another crack from the edge between CA into the right wing. Early die states show a widely recut C in 50 C.

I was hoping there were slight marks of the 4 to the left of the 7 myself! So is it worth more than the $52 I paid for it? I'd like to mark the log with a rough idea for the kids and Mrs. D in the event I get hit by a flying meteor.

Thanks for all of your help
